Jordan Urbano, the promoter behind Valley Fight Series, has transformed the local combat sports scene, starting with small amateur MMA events in Reedley, CA. Today, he hosts sold-out shows at Table Mountain Casino in Fresno, CA, featuring not only MMA but also jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai, catering to a diverse audience and providing a platform for both amateur and professional fighters.

Reflecting on his journey, Urbano says, "I started hosting small amateur MMA events in Reedley to give local fighters a platform. As the popularity grew, we moved to larger venues, and now we're thrilled to be hosting sold-out events at Table Mountain Casino. It's been a lot of hard work, but seeing the fighters and fans enjoying the shows makes it all worth it."

The transition from amateur to professional events was gradual. "Once we established a solid reputation, we began incorporating professional bouts. Partnering with experienced professionals in the industry also helped smooth the transition," Urbano explains.

Including jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai was driven by a desire to offer a diverse experience. "Featuring these disciplines allows us to showcase a broader range of skills and attract a wider audience," he notes. Fighter safety remains a top priority, with strict regulations and certified professionals ensuring a safe environment.

One memorable moment for Urbano was the first sold-out show at Table Mountain Casino. "The energy from the crowd was incredible, and seeing fighters achieve their dreams was very rewarding," he recalls.

Looking ahead, Urbano plans to expand Valley Fight Series further, possibly hosting events in other cities and states. "Our goal is to become a leading name in the world of combat sports promotions," he shares.
